BBC Documentary: Planet Earth II
Growing up with a love for BBC documentaries has been a blessing, and even now, I still dream of joining the BBC documentary team one day. BBC's documentaries opened my eyes to the wonders of the world, and BBC Earth, in particular, instilled in me a deep respect and awe for nature from a young age. In 2016, BBC released the second season of Planet Earth. The original series from 2006 was groundbreaking at the time, and a decade later, it returned in an even more spectacular fashion. With the use of advanced technology and the tireless dedication of the production team, this nature documentary series has reached new heights.
Nature is truly extraordinary, but as humans have drifted away from it, we've also lost our sense of reverence for it. When humans become fearless, that's when we become dangerous. The birth of life, the hunt of predators, and the migration of animals—all of these are expressions of pure beauty. In just a single moment, life can fill us with energy and stir our emotions. There's still so much that humanity needs to learn from nature. Some things can't be fully captured in words; they need to be experienced to be understood. Documentaries provide a powerful way to help us better connect with the world and nature. That said, I still encourage everyone to step outside and capture your own documentaries with your eyes and heart. But if it's hard to take a break from the busy world, watching these top-tier documentaries is also a great option.
